Nioh is a dark fantasy themed game developed by Team Ninja. Once an exclusive series for PlayStation, this hack and slash-themed game became a crowd favorite. Finally, the sequel, Nioh 2 managed to give a very tough game and challenge players with lots of terrible monsters.
Even though it was only released last year, it turns out that Team Ninja is planning to further develop the franchise by making a spin-off or a side edition. In fact, Square Enix was immediately interested in being a collaborator in working on it. The plan of this game will be released for PlayStation and PC.
Reported by Fanbyte, this news turned out to be still a rumor because Square Enix did not dare to confirm this. In the near future they will announce this at the E3 2021 event which will be held virtually from 12 to 15 June.
The leak also summarizes that this project will be initiated under the name Stranger in Paradise. Although not announced yet, the project is moving pretty quickly with demos in preparation for the summer. In fact, Square Enix will also postpone Final Fantasy Origins specifically to announce this game first.
If these rumors prove true, the alpha version of this game will be shown at E3 2021. Meanwhile, Square Enix is also reportedly still preparing the main sequel to Final Fantasy XVI following this project and it could be that a new Stranger in Paradise will appear to be prepared in 2022. .
